The Displaign product (ADI99/285P...) can be controlled using the serial port
(COM1 - COM6) of the PC.
The application splits into 4 sections.
- DLE-Remote control
- DLE-Script execution
- Softwareupdate
- Logoupdate
Each of these programs can be started individually or using the program WinDLE.

| 2. Remote control |
The DLE-Schnittstellensteuerung provides extensive possibilites
to use the DLE-Interface via the PC. You can change standard parameters
(picture position, picture size, ...) and have access to a lot of additional
commands, partly only accessible after legitimation.
Furthermore you can collect single commands in a script file. With a script
file you have the possibility to set the same parameter to a lot of boards.
A scriptfile may contain commands to write ideal pre-defined video modes
to different boards. Also your own logo can be transmitted with a single command
in a script file to the board.

Tab single commands:
You can select of more than 100 DLE commands to configure the board according to your demands.
Some highlights of the DLE command set:
- Nr. 85: activate up to 32 hotkey functions
- Nr. 99: aeactivate menu entries or whole menus
- Nr. 45/46: write a user defined gamma table
- Nr. 60: read and write videomode settings
You can add a single command to a script by pushing the right button. The
script file can be checked, modified, saved, loaded und executedt with
tab Script.

Tab script:
The execution of the script is logged with the status of each command.
The script file can be saved und loaded. Command lines can be deleted
or modified within in a script. Inside of the script you can use the the
command 259 "Stopp" to insert a break (with userdefined text)
during the execution time.

Protocoll window
Every execution of a single command will be logged and printed inside the activated protocoll window.
The whole DLE data packet or only a part of it (STX=Start, ETX=ENDE, CKS=check sum, HNR=board number, KNR= command number) can be printed.
If you develop your own software for the DLE interface you can check the transmissin packets.

Tab copy:
With this function you can read the whole board
configuration (includes system config, video modes and gamma table), store it and
use the data as master. This is a quick and easy way to clone new boards.

Videmodeinfo
The videomode screen provides a complete table of all data
stored with the selected videomodes. Furthermore you can read
this modes and write it back to other board or an other position.

Display list
The display list provides an overview on all available display timings. You can
save and load the list to your PC.

OSD - text window
This is a demonstration tool for the OSD text box function.
A text box with a max. size of 60 x 40 characters is created at selectable location. Text can be placed
somewhere in the box and text attributes like foreground color, background color, blinking and a frame can be changed.

OSD - structure (only 285P)
The firmware of the 285P supports a fully userdefined OSD.
You can combine the menuitems with the menus and partially rename it.
If you want to you use other than the default languages for the help messages
you can easily translate the default messages.

| 3. DLE-Script execution |

direct execution of a script file with the tool DLE-Script execution.
These can be done using a batch file or direct with the WinDLE-Tools. |

| 4. Softwareupdate |
 |

an easy to use software download tool which is comfortable and secure.

| 5. Logoupdate |
 |
- Write your own logo to theon board flash memory.
- Let you guide through the update procedure in 2 simply steps like the software
update
- The scaler chip can expand a small logo (10% - 100%) and scale it up to
the maximum display resolution (100%).
- Insert the logo update into a script and accomplish it within a automatic board initialization.
