ADI99DVI

ADI99DVI Documentation Tech. Data Software
The ADI99DVI is fully downward compatible to the well-known ADI99, both concerning dimensions and plug positions and in the function range. The additional DVI input is new. TFT panels (TTL / LVDS) with resolutions up to 1280x1024 are supported. RGB-, DVI- (VGA / PC / Workstation) and video (camera / DVD) signals are proccessed.

RGB, DVI, 2xFBAS and Y/C may be connected at the same time. Both, manual and automatic input selection is selectable. In manual mode the input is fixed (ex. RGB) even if there is no signal. In automatic mode all inputs are scanned for a signal and the first found is displayed. A special feature is the scan sequence. Within the On-Screen-Manager can be defined which inputs are scanned in what sequence. The ADI99DVI has a jumper less design, controlled by the OSM only. It is activated by a JogDial ( intuitively control) or a four position keyboard with dynamic autorepeat.

Features:
Display:

  • panel detection, automatic selection of panel power and timing.
  • no programming of panel files necessary. The firmware includes the timings of any ever adapted panel.
  • easy warehousing, one board fits to all panels
  • Frame Rate Converter. The panel is always driven with the specified timing, regardless of the input source.
  • high quality arbitrary scaling engine using (SmartScaling-2™) technology to fit the input image to panel resolution.
  • Dynamic Dithering makes a 18-Bit panel look like a true colour device.
  • LVDS interface for single and dual pixel panels
