The High End
Graphics Card 285P represents
the next step up from Displaign's well
known ADI99DVI. It was especially developed for high resolution panels,
HDTV and picture in picture display. TFT panels with a resolution of up to 1920x1440 pixel are supported. Especially the 3rd Generation Motion Adaptive De-Interlace provides an outstanding image quality when using HDTV(480i, 576i, 1080i). In addition to the color component inputs also HD- / SD- SDI and further signal sources can be processed using additional optional input modules. The 285P processes 2-channels at the same time, allowing Picture-in-Picture (PiP) and Picture-by-Picture (PbP) presentation. For example an RGB source may be overlayed by a HDTV input window with free size and position definition. 6 input signal sources (2xRGB/YPbPr, DVI, 2xFBAS and Y/C) are provided at the appropriate connectors and an additional pin header provides another 7 inputs. In addition to the individual input selection, (even after a signal loss or power up) only the selected inputs are checked for a valid input signal; also an automatic channel search is possible. In this case all inputs are scanned for inut signals, and the first valid input is selected for display. The user can define on which inputs and in which order the card will search for a signal by using the On-Screen-Manager (OSM). The 285P, like the ADI99DVI, does not use jumpers; all settings are selected by using the OSM, controlled by a Jogdial (optical or mechanical, allows for intuitive control), or a keyboard with dynamic auto repeat. Compatibility to the ADI99DVI board is ensured by using the same cables. Data- and Inverter cables of the ADI99DVI can be re-used without modification. Features:
